"HPR win grant aid for new Stoke on Trent facility"
Hanbury Plastics Recycling Ltd have been awarded a grant from Advantage West Midlands to help with the installation of automatic sorting processes for plastics recycling at their new facility at Milton near Stoke on Trent.
Managing Director, Richard Devine said "The whole team at HPR Ltd are delighted with the approval of our grant application by WRAP & AWM and we see this as a clear vindication of our strategy to concentrate our efforts on the recycling of mixed plastics"
Hanbury Plastics Recycling has already invested more than ¬£1 million in state of the art equipment and has committed to a long term future at the 50,000 square foot Milton site. Works Manager Michael Charles said "This grant will help us to achieve our short term goal of establishing a facility with a capacity of 20,000 tonnes per annum, generating very high quality outputs of recycled PET, HDPE and Polypropylene, both in rigid and film formats".
